In collaboration with the Innovate UK Knowledge Transfer Network, Added Scientific are pleased to announce a pre-conference event for 2017 - “Industrial Realities of Additive Manufacturing”. This one-day event has been designed for companies who are looking to grasp the opportunities offered by Additive Manufacturing, whilst also helping them avoiding the pitfalls. Steering clear of sales pitches and hype, we have selected speakers who bring extensive experience in implementing AM and who can provide clear insights into the industrial realities of the technology.

This event will focus on the hidden challenges of Additive Manufacturing Covering a range of issues such as quality assurance, facility development, training and funding, the speakers will discuss the challenges that they have faced and share the lessons learned.

The day will also include a session dedicated to the UK's National Strategy for Additive Manufacturing, led by Innovate UK. This will provide insight into the work being done to support UK industry and details of opportunities available to UK companies.

In addition, delegates will have the opportunity to visit the Exhibition, showcasing leading companies in Additive Manufacturing. Drinks and a buffet reception will follow the event.

Below are the confirmed speakers to date, but more will be added shortly.
